IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) & Microinjection (ICSI)
In vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) are assisted reproductive techniques. They aim to fertilize the woman's egg with the man's sperm in a laboratory setting.
How is it Applied?
In the laboratory, a single selected sperm cell is injected directly into the egg using a special microscope and micromanipulator. This method is intended to support fertilization, especially when sperm count or motility is low.
Oocyte & Genetic Diagnosis (PGT)
Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGT) is the examination of the chromosomal and genetic structure of embryos before they are transferred to the expectant mother.
Why is it Important?
PGT provides information about embryos regarding the chromosomal and genetic characteristics examined. In cases of advanced maternal age, recurrent miscarriage or risk of familial genetic disease, it contributes to the evaluation of the treatment process.
Reproductive Surgery
It covers procedures such as hysteroscopy/laparoskopi performed for the protection of egg or endometrium tissue, or to prepare the uterus for IVF.
Fertility Preservation
For medical reasons such as oncological treatment, or where the conditions set out in the applicable regulations are met, embryo, sperm and egg freezing and storage can be carried out in accordance with the regulations. Eligibility is determined by physician evaluation.
Psychological Support
The IVF process can be emotionally as well as physically demanding. Psychological support can help couples cope with stress during this time.
