Accessibility Statement
At Özel Lotus Hastanesi, we aim for our website (www.lotushastanesi.com) to be usable by everyone, regardless of age, disability or the assistive technology they use. This statement has been prepared within the scope of Presidential Circular No. 2025/10 and the related Website Accessibility Guide.
Conformance Target
Our goal is for the website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site currently partially conforms to this level; we are working on the limitations listed below.
Measures We Have Taken
- A skip link to the main content and keyboard navigation on all pages
- Turkish, English, German and Arabic language options; right-to-left (RTL) layout for Arabic
- Alternative text for images and accessible names for icon links
- Heading hierarchy and meaningful page structure
- Animations are turned off for users who enable "reduce motion" in their operating system
- Improved colour contrast for text and buttons; browser zoom is not restricted
Known Limitations
- Some PDF documents (e.g. information brochures) may not be fully compatible with screen readers.
- Third-party embedded content (maps, videos, the official appointment form) depends on the accessibility level of its providers.
- Some older news and announcement images may lack descriptive alternative text.
